I am a feminist. I believe in the justification for political, economic and social equality of the sexes. Do you?

We have not  achieved the equality of sexes even in this modern world of ours. Much has been done and yet more needs to be done. It seems there are a lot of misconceptions about the concept. I do not demand men and women not to be different. That would be just as absurd, as if I demanded that equality of people in general required, that we would not be different.

For those of you, that did not know this, feminism does not require men, or women to stop being the representatives of their own sexes. It only demands equal rights for both groups regardless of their gender. If your sexual identity is built on the false premise of sexes not being equal, you have a problem, and I do suggest you  attend to it and seek help.

There are some major differences about men and women both physical and cultural. The differences are not obstacles between us as persons, if we act in mutually respectfull way. In case you did not know, the term for demand of equal rights comes from the fact that most cultures in the world have a history of oppression towards women.
